Section 3-26. Temporary relocation in connection with work with lead and lead compounds

Employees who work with lead or lead compounds shall be relocated for a minimum of three months if the following limit values are exceeded:
Female employees of fertile age who are found to have blood lead levels of more than 0.75 μmol/l or between 0.5 and 0.75 μmol/l in three consecutive quarterly examinations shall be relocated to other work until these values have dropped to below 0.5 μmol/l.
Other employees who are found to have blood lead levels of more than 2.0 μmol/l or between 1.5 and 2.0 μmol/l in three consecutive quarterly examinations shall be relocated to other work until these values have dropped to below 1.5 μmol/l.
