(1) Staff rules are valid only when established in a lawful manner and when they do not contain provisions contrary to the Act.(2) If rules drafted pursuant to section 14-17, second paragraph, contain provisions that are contrary to the Act or are unfair to employees or if the rules were not drafted in a lawful manner the Labour Inspection Authority shall refuse approval.(3) If rules established by agreement pursuant to section 14-17, first paragraph, contain provisions that are contrary to the Act, the Labour Inspection Authority shall bring this to the attention of the parties and ensure that the provisions are amended.
