The board must ensure that all students at a tertiary vocational college have access to a student ombudsperson.The student ombudsperson is to advice and help the students in matters concerning their study situation. The student ombudsperson must not be instructed in this work. The student ombudsperson has a duty of secrecy, cf. sections 13 to 13e of the Public Administration Act.Student ombudspersons may be employed for a fixed term. The fixed term may be four to six years. Pursuant to this provision, no one may be employed for fixed terms for a continuous period of more than twelve years.The Ministry may issue further regulations concerning student ombudspersons.
